In partnership with the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA)

Mission Assam

Together, we can rebuild hope.

Assam is facing one of its most difficult flood situations in recent years. Mission Assam mobilises India's businesses, healthcare providers, logistics partners and citizens to move verified relief — food, water, shelter, hygiene, elder care and medical supplies — to affected communities, coordinated with ASDMA's core relief team.

Why this mission

We cannot remain spectators.

Thousands of families across Assam have lost access to food, drinking water, medicines and shelter. Relief on this scale is a logistics problem — and India's organisations already have the warehouses, trucks, products and people to solve it.

ElderKonnect is proud to partner with the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), working directly with its core relief coordination team, so that every contribution reaches the ground through an authorised, accountable channel.

Day 0

Mission Assam launches

Partnership with ASDMA confirmed. The call goes out to 100 organisations across India. This timeline updates every day with what actually happened — joins, dispatches, camp visits and distributions.

Day 01

Building Awareness & Community Outreach

The journey began with establishing our presence across social media platforms and initiating meaningful conversations with individuals and communities. This first step focused on spreading awareness about our mission, building trust, and connecting with people who share our vision of creating a stronger support network.

Day 02

Expanding Our Logistics Network

Efforts shifted towards identifying and onboarding reliable logistics partners across the country. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with organizations and professionals expressing interest in collaborating to help us build an efficient, nationwide delivery and support network.

Day 03

Partnering for Better Healthcare Access

Today marked the beginning of our outreach to healthcare partners. Our goal is to collaborate with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers to ensure that every family has access to quality care, making healthcare a certainty rather than a privilege.

Day 04

Strengthening Logistics & Strategic Collaborations

Today, we engaged in discussions with Air India Express to explore potential support for transportation and logistics. As the scale of essential supplies continues to grow, moving them efficiently has become one of our biggest operational challenges. We are actively working towards resolving these logistics constraints over the next two days. Meanwhile, our healthcare partners continue their outreach efforts, contributing tirelessly to ensure families receive the care and support they need.

Day 05

Strengthening Community Support with Unnati Foundation

Today, we finalized our collaboration with #UnnatiFoundation, who stepped forward to support the relief initiative with a contribution of 300 sanitary pads. Their contribution will help address an essential yet often overlooked need for women and girls affected by the crisis.

Day 06

Air India Express Comes Onboard as Logistics Partner

A major logistics milestone was achieved today with the finalization of our collaboration with Air India Express. Their support will help us transport relief materials collected from multiple cities, including Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Kolkata, to our designated receiving point in Guwahati. This partnership is helping us overcome one of the biggest challenges of the relief effort — moving essential supplies efficiently to where they are needed.

Day 07

Coordinating with ASDMA for Ground-Level Distribution

Today, we connected with officials from the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) to discuss the next stage of the relief operation. Our discussions focused on coordinating with their volunteers for receiving the relief materials and ensuring that the supplies are subsequently distributed to the areas and communities where the need is greatest.

Day 08

Expanding Our Relief Material Network

With logistics taking shape, our focus shifted towards strengthening the supply side. We reached out to more vendors and contributors to source essential relief materials, including blankets, bedsheets, and other supplies required by affected communities. Every conversation and contribution is helping us build a more comprehensive relief package.

Day 09

Preparing Relief Kits for Dispatch

Today was dedicated to gathering and organizing critical relief materials, including mosquito nets, fogging machines, medicines, and first-aid kits. Alongside sourcing the supplies, a significant part of the day went into carefully packing and organizing everything to ensure the materials remain secure and reach their intended recipients safely.

Day 10

Packing, Labelling & Dispatch

The final preparations for transportation took place today. Each box was properly packed, labelled, and marked with the necessary details before being handed over at the Air India Express drop-off centre in Kolkata. The materials are now set to begin their journey towards the Guwahati receiving point, with the aim of reaching there by Day 11.

FAQs

Questions, answered plainly.

Can individuals contribute, or only organisations?
Both. Individuals can drop supplies at any collection hub in their city, or volunteer. Organisations can contribute in bulk, sponsor a category, or offer transport, warehousing or collection space.
Can companies sponsor the mission?
Yes. Companies can sponsor a supply category (for example, all hygiene kits), fund logistics, or contribute products directly. Every sponsor is credited on the Wall of Hope. Write to the Mission Desk to structure a sponsorship.
Do you accept money?
No. ElderKonnect does not accept cash contributions of any kind. All monetary donations go directly to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, Assam by NEFT, IMPS, RTGS or UPI — see the bank details above. Send us your transfer screenshot and we'll track your contribution and follow up on the official receipt if it doesn't reach you.
Can we donate products directly?
Yes — that's the heart of the mission. Check the priority requirements list, then send us the form above. We'll coordinate collection or pickup. Medicines are accepted only through authorised partners.
Who distributes the relief?
Distribution is coordinated with the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) and its core relief coordination team, so supplies reach verified camps through the official relief channel.
How do you ensure transparency?
Every contribution and dispatch is logged and published on this page — contributor, quantity, truck, route and receiving camp, with receipts and photos. The dashboard starts at zero and only shows verified counts.
How do we become a collection centre?
Fill in the Join form and tick "Warehouse" or mention collection space under "Other", or contact the Mission Desk directly. We'll confirm your location, send signage and coordinate pickups.
